This page provides general information and should be read together with the relevant product page and the pre-contract information shown for your order. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.<\/p>\n

1. Withdrawal and returns if you change your mind<\/h2>\n

Unless a statutory exception applies, you may withdraw from a distance purchase of physical goods within 14 days of delivery<\/strong>, without giving a reason or paying a penalty. You may also notify withdrawal before the goods are delivered. Send an unequivocal written statement to dukkan@hrantdink.org<\/a>. Giving your order number, name and the product concerned helps us process the request, but the absence of one of these details does not by itself remove your right. A telephone call alone is not sufficient.<\/p>\n

After notifying withdrawal, send the goods back within 14 days<\/strong>. Return address: Hrant Dink Foundation D\u00fckkan, Anarad H\u0131\u011futyun Building, Papa Roncalli St. No: 128, Harbiye 34373 \u015ei\u015fli, Istanbul, T\u00fcrkiye. You may email us first for details of the return carrier and dispatch process. If a return carrier was specified in the pre-contract information, using that carrier will not impose return-shipping costs on you. If no carrier was specified, you may use any carrier without being charged for return shipping. The legal consequences of use beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods are assessed under applicable law; opening packaging alone is not an automatic ground for rejecting every product return.<\/p>\n

2. Refunds<\/h2>\n

When the legal conditions are met, all payments collected, including the original delivery charge, will be refunded within 14 days<\/strong>, without a fee and by a means compatible with the original payment method. For returned physical goods, the start of that period depends on whether the carrier specified in the pre-contract information was used and when the goods were handed to the carrier or received by the seller. If goods have not yet been delivered, the period starts when the seller receives the withdrawal notice. A bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the amount in your account; this does not change the seller’s statutory refund obligation.<\/p>\n

3. Defective, damaged or incorrect goods<\/h2>\n

If goods delivered to you are defective, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the contract, email dukkan@hrantdink.org<\/a>. Photos and an order number, if available, can help us assess the issue quickly; they are not mandatory conditions for exercising statutory rights. Subject to the requirements of applicable law, a consumer who receives defective goods may choose to rescind the contract for a refund, seek a price reduction, request free repair or, where possible, replacement with a non-defective equivalent. Costs arising from the exercise of these statutory remedies are not charged to the consumer. Rights concerning defective goods may remain available even after the ordinary withdrawal period has ended.<\/p>\n

4. Exchanges of non-defective goods<\/h2>\n

If you want a different size, colour or product, you may email us with a direct exchange request. A direct exchange of non-defective goods is a store service subject to stock, any price difference and agreement between the parties. If a direct exchange is unavailable, your 14-day statutory withdrawal right is not restricted: where applicable, you may withdraw from the original order and place a new order for the item you want. Replacement of defective goods with a non-defective equivalent is a separate statutory remedy and is not limited by this voluntary exchange policy.<\/p>\n

5. Exceptions to withdrawal<\/h2>\n

Exceptions under the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation apply only when their specific conditions are met. Examples may include goods made to individual specifications; goods whose protective packaging has been opened after delivery and which cannot suitably be returned for health or hygiene reasons; books whose protective packaging has been opened after delivery; and certain leisure services to be performed on a specified date. Examining or opening a book does not produce the same legal result in every case; the statutory conditions of the exception must be considered. Any applicable cancellation and refund terms for dated KarDes events should also be shown on the product page before purchase. Statutory rights relating to defective goods or services are unaffected.<\/p>\n

6. KarDes Club membership and contact<\/h2>\n

An automatically renewing KarDes Club membership has billing-period, renewal and cancellation terms different from one-off product returns; these must be disclosed separately before memberships are offered for sale. For questions and written return notices, use dukkan@hrantdink.org<\/a>. Your statutory remedies, including recourse to the competent consumer arbitration committee or consumer court, remain available.<\/p>\n
